Taylor, Hutto athletes chosen as all-stars
Dalton Marek of Taylor, and Garrett Carey and John Cannon, both of Hutto, will play tonight in the 9th Annual Senior High School all-star game at the Dell Diamond at 6 p.m. The annual game is hosted by the Austin Area Baseball Coaches Association and selects the top seniors from the Central Texas area to play. Marek heads into the game batting .382 and will play shortstop. Cannon will fill in behind the plate and boasts a batting average of .451. Carey will also play shortstop, and he leads the trio with a .483 batting average.
