Miller~Adams Molly Morgan Miller of Rockport and Daniel Ray Adams of Rockport were united in marriage Saturday, May 10, 2008, at 5:30 p.m. at The Lighthouse Inn at Aransas Bay in Rockport. Billy Ray Crow, cousin of the bride, officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mickey and Moppy Miller of Waxahachie and the granddaughter of Wesley and Billie Gene Miller of Taylor and the late Alvin and Myrtle Miller of Temple. The groom is the son of Danny and Betty Adams of Rockport and the grandson of the late Eugene and Mary Belle Adams and the late Clyde and Lillian Armstrong, all of Rockport. The inn’s gazebo, where the ceremony was held, was draped with white fabric and decorated with two large floral arrangements on the entrance columns. Guests were seated on white wooden benches and the aisle was lined with floral arrangements hung from shepherd’s hooks. Music was provided by Mike Isbell, who played guitar and sang. A reading was presented by Greta Peterson, sister of the groom. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a strapless, beaded lace ball gown with pick-up skirt and a black pleated satin sash with embroidery and beading. She wore a fingertip veil with a beaded hair clip. She carried a bouquet of dark red hydrangeas, roses, mini calla lily and dark hypercum berries, the stems wrapped with black satin ribbon. Matron of honor was Kari Vigil of Missouri City and maid of honor was Erin Jansky of Hallettesville. The attendants wore sleeveless, scooped neck, black sheath dresses with black lace overlay. They carried bouquets similar to the bride’s. The flower girl was Ella Mikulencak of Round Rock, cousin of the bride. Best men were Todd Adams of Rockport, brother of the groom, and Tommy Ramzinsky of Rockport. Ushers were Jay Ray Watkins, nephew of the groom, and Mason Miller, brother of the bride. The ring bearer was Michael Williams of Rockport, cousin of the groom. A reception followed the wedding at the Fulton Convention Center in Fulton. The dinner and dance featured music by Riptide. The tables were decorated with alternating black and white linens. Battenberg lace tablecloths were covered in black linens and black silk organza runners on white linens. Alternating tables were centered with fruit-filled apothecary jars or floral arrangements. The bride’s cake was a five-layer red velvet cake with white chocolate and cream cheese frosting. Black ribbon decorated each layer and a small floral arrangement topped the cake. It was created by Lisa Ivey of Alpine, cousin of the bride. The groom’s cake was a three-layer chocolate cake with German chocolate filling. It was decorated with chocolate sea shells and topped with a chocolate jumping fish. A lure used to decorate the cake was a favorite lure of the groom’s paternal grandmother, “TaTa.” A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents on May 9 at the Allegro House in Rockport. Following a wedding trip to Isla Mujeres, Mexico, the couple makes their home in Rockport. The bride is a graduate of Italy High School and Texas State University. She is the dance and dance team director at Rockport/Fulton High School. She is also attending classes at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. The groom is a graduate of Rockport/Fulton High School. He works as a fishing and hunting guide in Rockport.
