Guild accepting contest entries

The Taylor Artist Guild has announced its third annual Printmaking Competition. All forms of printmaking will be accepted, including woodcut, silkscreen, monoprint and lithography. All artwork must be original in design and hand pulled by the artist. It also must be framed and ready to hang.

All artwork should be for sale with a 30 percent commission to be retained by the gallery.

Entry fees are $20 for one entry, $30 for two entries for non-guild members, and $15 for one entry, $25 for two entries for guild members.

Artwork needs to be delivered to The Main Gallery, 200 N. Main St., Sept. 6 between noon and 3 p.m.

There will be an artist reception Sept. 13 starting at 7 p.m.

Entries that have not been sold may be picked up Oct. 4 from noon to 3 p.m.
