County grants park land to city
The City of Taylor came one step closer to building a community recreation center June 30 when the Williamson County Commissioner’s Court pledged a five-acre tract of land adjacent to the Taylor Regional Park and Sports Complex — and it likely won’t cost taxpayers a single penny.

The Williamson County Commissioner’s Court agreed to fund $500,000 for construction of roads and parking lots at the Taylor Regional Park and Sports Complex in exchange for the city agreeing to maintain several areas near the entrance of the park for the funding.
