It’s time for the Eurovision Song Contest again next month. For a preview of it, follow the US version of the current song contest. But Eurovision fans will get an extra version next year.
The Eurovision family is getting a little bigger again. After the original European version and the new American version, there is also the Canadian version of the Festival of Everyone’s Flashing and Wind Machines.
Eurovision Canada
System of Eurovision Song Festival The Canadian version was announced to be released next year. It was given – not super original – by Eurovision Canada. Various countries have been competing in Europe for the last 67 years. In the United States, it is about different states and territories. Also in Canada, it is located between ten different provinces of the country and three northwestern regions of Nunavut and Yukon.
Eurovision Canada will follow the opinion of the United States. It’s not just about the semi-finals and a final like Europe. The concept of American Song Contest It starts with the initial rounds, which are also televised. After five initial rounds, two semifinals will take place. Time for the final a week later.
At this point it was already time for the semifinals of the American Song Contest. In it, the twenty states and the public, voted by the arbitral tribunal, compete with each other. The final will take place on Monday, May 9, shortly before the start of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Canadian winner
Canada is not entirely new to the Eurovision Song Contest. The country has Eurovision winners as well as Belgium, one thing must be right.
