Spaargids.beOf all the financial institutions included in a large survey of Spaargids.be Rated by its customers, KBC has the best score. With 7.9 / 10 it preceded Argenta (7.6) and vdk bank (7.2). We review various criteria and findings from the study.

Between 7 and 18 November, Spaargids, Jed Épargne and polling agency iVox asked visitors for their online platforms Spaargids.be and Guide-épargne.be, as well as a number of other DPG Media channels, such as hln.be and 7sur7.be .
They can express themselves about the banks of which they are clients. Almost 31,000 people answered the question. This concerned both people who were clients of one bank and people who had accounts in several financial institutions.
Popular with everyone
As in previous years, KBC received a good report. With 7.9/10 it scored the best rated banks. Both men and women gave her this rating. This was also the case for Dutch and French speakers. The assessment was also fairly consistent across the different age groups.
However, it is remarkable that consumers with only one bank gave KBC a score of 8.3. People who are clients of many financial institutions and are therefore more able to compare kept it at 7.7.

For operating its branch network, KBC has earned 8.0/10 from its customers. The bank achieved a score of 8.4 among the group of customers aged between 18 and 24 years. In the 35-44 age group, this score was limited to 7.8.
The experience of the office staff was rated as very good by 88.6% of clients, while 9.2% considered it somewhat good.
The distance to the office was 77.1%. 86.5% rated customer focus in communication positively. Against opening hours, 68.9% were positive.

KBC put the competition a distance from digital banking with a score of 8.4/10. Argentina followed in second place with a score of 7.6/10.
86.8% found the offer of online banking and insurance services complete, 76.1% gave a thumbs up on the non-bank offers and 89.2% were satisfied with the online security.
As a savings bank, KBC has a score of 7.5 from its customers. The 35-44 age group held out at a 7.3, while the 18-24 age group gave the bank a 7.9.

As an investment bank, KBC has a score of 7.3. Ratings ranged from a 7.7 in the 18-24 age group to a 7.2 in the 35-44 age group.
74.0% liked the research and market information. For the online platform, 62.9% did. And in terms of costs, KBC was on the right side for 48.8% of customers.
Finally, customer service was rated positively at 76.4%.
