That Britney Spears had her father as an administrator for years and thus could not lead a normal life, is basically her mother’s fault. The American pop star wrote this in an Instagram post that has since been deleted.

Britney Spears has been hiring her father, Jamie, as an administrator for thirteen years. So decide what she can spend money on, what she can put on social media, if she can make music etc. It was fertile ground for the #FreeBritney movement, which campaigned for the singer to take back control of her life.

That is the case now, after her father indicated that he would resign his position as an administrator. Now Spears can post whatever she wants on social media, and she does so eagerly. She announced her engagement and just made firewood from her mother, although she has already deleted this Instagram post.

“What people don’t know is that it was my mother who gave him the idea to become a guardian,” Spears wrote. “I will never turn back those years. You secretly ruined my life.”

She addressed her mother in the mail. “You know what I did. My dad is never smart enough to ever think of being responsible. But tonight I can smile, because I know a new life awaits me.”

In her post, Spears also mentions her former business partner Lou Taylor, who is said to have helped organize the guardianship. There has been no response (yet?) from Taylor or Lynne Spears.
