Leontine did a Q&A with followers of her new dog Obi when someone asked why her dog is called Riders and not Borsato. “Good question. Mama is now officially called Leontine Ruiters again” dog mom† Amazing announcement, because the couple had been married for over twenty years when they separated in 2020. Holland only knows Leonten as Borsato.
Leontine has announced that her Instagram name will be leontineboursato for some time. She wants to use leontine, but that name is already occupied by an account that has not been used. “We are looking into acquiring the rights to that name,” she wrote.
Marco and Leonten divorced in 2020 after it was revealed the singer’s affair years ago. Borsato indicated in 2021 that they would give him another chance. He seemed determined, “I will never cheat again.” Then it exploded the sound or the Netherlandsloose scandal. In December, Borsato was charged with sexual assault and offensive behavior against underage girls. It was the last straw for Leontien. Now that she’s used her name again, the reconciliation seems to have been rescinded for good.
