MovieIt was announced that a movie will be released for the pre-screening of “The Hunger Games” in August 2021. Meanwhile, the release date of the movie has finally been set. The movie adaptation of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is expected to be released in theaters in November 2023.
Lionsgate, the film studio behind the film, revealed the release date last Thursday during their screening at CinemaCon. Good news for fans of “The Hunger Games”, because the filming of the first part was coming a long time ago. Fortunately, manufacturers don’t test our patience for too long. “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” is expected to arrive in theaters on November 17, 2023. The movie is based on the 2020 book of the same name by Susan Collins.
Coriolanus Snow
The story of the film revolves around Coriolanus Snow. The latter isn’t the fearsome boss of Panem yet, but an 18-year-old boy. However, the task in front of him is not pleasant. Snow is actually a teacher in the tenth edition of the so-called Hunger Games. Honored by the girl from District 12.
Details about the cast are not yet available. Francis Lawrence, director of the last three Hunger Games films, will now direct. The original films could already be based on a famous cast. For example, Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth played roles in films. The first three “Hunger Games” films were also huge hits. They have raised about 2.5 billion euros worldwide.
