A passerby made a curious remark at the KFC branch in Leuven on Saturday night. Five mice were walking around a fast food restaurant. Nico (16) was able to quickly capture the rodents with his camera. “I used to eat there once, but I won’t set foot in it anymore,” he says.

A not-so-appetizing note for sixteen-year-old Nico in Leuven, Kentucky. At about one o’clock at night, the young man wandered with some friends towards the Oud market. “We passed the fast food restaurant and suddenly we saw at least five mice walking around on the chairs and benches,” Niko says. “I was able to quickly catch everything on camera.”
“It’s really not possible. I also organize events myself and I know how important hygiene is. It seems that this is not very appreciated at KFC. I used to eat there once, but I don’t set foot there anymore, “says the young man.

They also get to see pictures of Niko at KFC. “We immediately took action,” says Sally Herrigers of Benelux Food Group. “Hygiene in our restaurants is very important. Therefore, the necessary parties have been contacted to solve the problem. In addition, we are conducting a thorough investigation, so that this never happens again.”
