On Saturday 15 and 29 April, 13 and 27 May and 10 and 24 June you can get your HPV and/or HPV vaccination at Muziekschool MOZ-Art at Schubertstraat 50 in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel. The Hecht GGD Hollands Midden temporary vaccination site will then be open from 13.30 to 16.00 hours. Making an appointment is not necessary. Don’t forget to bring a valid ID.
Vaccination against human papillomavirus
HPV vaccination will only be free in 2023 for young people born between 1996 and 2003 who have not been (fully) vaccinated against HPV. This virus can cause cancer of the mouth, throat, anus, penis, vagina, labia, and cervix. For optimal protection, two injections are required with six or more months between them. Those who get their first shot before July 1 can also get their second shot for free in 2023. After 2023, HPV vaccination costs for this group will be self-accounted.
Corona vaccination
Corona vaccinations are available from the age of 12. You can get basic series vaccines at the temporary vaccination site in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel if you have not been vaccinated against corona before. You can also get a repeat shot of the halo there. This is possible if you have completed the primary series and have not had a repeat injection after September 18, 2022
