With just a few days left, we have a new Intel processor standard Core i9-13900K Raptor Lake CPU It offers the same performance as the Core i9-12900K, but only 80W.
The Intel Core i9-13900K Raptor Lake CPU is just as fast as the 80W Core i9-12900K Alder Lake CPU.
In the latest standards published by Enthusiastic citizen in Bilibili forumsWe see that the Intel Core i9-13900K Raptor Lake CPU was tested on different profiles in the Cinebench R23. Dozens of stocks range, unlimited power, and limited power profiles. But let’s take a look at the specifications first.
Intel Core i9-13900K 24 Core Raptor Lake CPU Specifications
The Intel Core i9-13900K is the flagship Raptor Lake CPU, with 24 cores and 32 threads in an 8 P-Core (Raptor Cove) and 16 E-Core (Gracemont V2) configuration. The CPU is configured with a base clock of 3.0 GHz, a single-core boost clock of 5.8 GHz (1-2) cores, and an integrated boost clock of 5.5 GHz (all eight cores). The CPU has a built-in cache of 68MB and a PL1 value ranging from 125W to 250W. The CPU can also consume up to 350W of power when using Unlimited Power Mode which we describe here.
- Core i9-13900K 8+16 (24/32) – 3.0 / 5.8 GHz – 66 MB cache, 125 W (PL1) / 253 W (PL2)
- Core i9-12900K 8+8 (16/24) – 3.2 / 5.2 GHz – 30 MB Cache, 125 W (PL1) / 241 W (PL2)
In terms of performance, the Intel Core i9-13900K scored 38,431 in stock and that’s on par with the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X. With the “Unlimited Energy” profile, the score jumps to 40,622 points, an increase of 6%. The leaker also set another benchmark, this time with a CPU with a fixed power limit of 80W, scoring 27,412 points, which is equivalent to an Intel Core i9-12900K Alder Lake CPU.

We also put tens We have an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X in stock and power is limited to 65W in the comparison table. AMD Ryzen 9 7950X appears to offer slightly better performance with much less power. This will show off the highly efficient design offered by both chips, but AMD’s Zen 4 5nm architecture really shines. Intel’s Raptor Lake Core i9-13900K CPU will be released on October 20 or this Thursday for worldwide availability along with the Z790 platform.
