Israel has already announced its entry into the 2023 Song Contest | showbiz

MusicThe first candidate for the Eurovision 2023 Song Contest has been announced. Noa Kirill (21 years old) will represent Israel. This was announced by public broadcaster CAN on Monday. Kirill is a big name in her homeland.

Kirill, 21, has already recorded several hit songs in Israel and won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Israeli Artist four times. It was selected after an internal selection by a panel of nine experts.

Another approach

It was different for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Turin. Israel then chose the song contest candidate through “The X Factor Israel”. This program was won by Michael Ben David, which allowed him to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest. Then he was stuck in the semi-finals. In 2018, Nita also won her selection with a talent show, but after that successful year it has become frustrating and bleak for Israelis.
