US President Joe Biden prepares for North Korea’s nuclear test. He said this before leaving for Japan, in the South Korean capital Seoul on Sunday. At the same time, he reiterated his willingness to hold talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

“We are ready to do anything that North Korea can do,” Biden said, adding that he was not worried about North Korea’s nuclear weapons test. When asked by a reporter if he had any news of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, the president replied lightly: “Hello. Point. “
Biden made it clear that Washington was still open to talks with North Korea, even if not mutually exclusive. Talks with Pyongyang have stalled since the failure of the 2019 summit between Kim and then US President Donald Trump.
Asian tour
Biden left South Korea for Japan on Sunday afternoon, another key US ally in the region and the second stop of his first Asian tour as president.
In Seoul, he met with pro-American Conservative Eun Suk-yol, who came to power in early May. The two leaders talked about accelerating their joint military exercises.
The seventh test in history
South Korea’s intelligence has warned that North Korea is preparing for a nuclear test. This is the seventh and first in five years in history. It is not impossible for this test to take place before the US president’s trip to Asia.
According to the latest official figures, North Korea, which has not been vaccinated against Govt-19, is currently battling the corona virus, with nearly 2.6 million cases and 67 deaths.
