Peace in the British royal family is far from it. In the backdrop of the much-discussed ‘Harry and Meghan’ saga, King Charles has also grappled in recent weeks with allegations surrounding his younger brother, Prince Andrew.

The 62-year-old Andrew lost his credibility when American Virginia Giuffre accused him of abuse. The lawsuit was ultimately averted, because the British prince agreed to an amicable settlement with the victim. Since the story became public, Andrew is no longer a working king, but that wasn’t the end of it.

It is clear that King Charles wants to distance himself from his brother and his actions. Earlier this week it was announced that one of Andrew’s titles, that of Colonel in the Grenadier Guards, would pass to Charles’ wife Camilla. According to ‘The Sun’, Charles now also wants to ban his brother from entering the palace. Andrew will have to look for his team around him and will have to pay for his entourage from now on.
