KnowBe4 makes the Security Masterminds podcast series available

KnowBe4, provider of the world’s largest platform for security awareness and phishing simulation, is launching a new podcast series called “Security Masterminds”. The podcast covers a range of cybersecurity topics, with a particular focus on the human element. A new podcast is released every month, episodes are about 30 minutes long. A variety of experts from the cybersecurity industry will be guests of these podcasts.

“Launching this podcast is a dream come true for us,” said Jawad Malik, Senior Security Awareness Advocate at KnowBe4. “It is a very easy-to-follow talk podcast, keeping listeners interested in the fascinating and current world of cybersecurity. We hope our listeners will find this podcast useful and interesting.”

Dr.. Lydia Kostopoulos

The first guest on the Security Mastermind podcast is Dr. Lydia Kostopoulos (pictured), senior vice president of Emerging Tech Insights at KnowBe4. After the September 11 attacks, Costopoulos, a freshman at the university at the time, became interested in the topic of cybersecurity. I decided to focus on studying cyber security. During this podcast, Kostopoulos explores the zeitgeist in which we now find ourselves, known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution. A period in which topics such as artificial intelligence, DNA editing, nanotechnologies, mixed media, smart sensors, and quantum computing are discussed. We’re at the beginning of new infrastructure being built for things like smart cities and autonomous vehicles. Given the abundance of new technologies and the rapid pace at which things change and evolve, there is a huge gap in cybersecurity skills. As long as technology changes, it must continue to develop skills.

The first episode of “Security Mastermind” is here Available.
