Kojima gives more details on Death Stranding director’s story – Games – News

Kojima Productions revealed more about the content of the director’s Death Stranding story. The developer shows all kinds of new gadgets and shows images of new missions, where the main character Sam ends up in a mysterious building.

According to the makers, the new version of Death Stranding will get new missions with a lot of actions. In a video, Kojima Productions shows images of the new environments in which these tasks take place. It’s about a “mysterious facility”, where Sam makes unknown discoveries. It is not yet clear how many new missions or gameplay the Director’s Cut will add.

In addition, many new tools were discussed. Sam Parker gets some kind of jetpack at his disposal. This is a backpack in it thrusters It allows players to land gently when jumping from a great height. In the video, the manufacturers also show more details about the Boddy Bot and the Cargo Catapult, two other new tools to make package transportation easier.

The game will feature a training arena where players can practice weapons and perform challenges. This is combined with a scoring system with online ratings. So will the race track that will be added and will fight the boss, which players can repeat by choosing them in Sam’s house. The director’s track will also receive eight new songs.

The video concludes with a teaser showing Sam at a doorway connecting to a mysterious underwater world. However, it seems Kojima Productions has a few surprises in store and doesn’t announce every detail about the director’s cut in advance.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be released on September 24 for the PlayStation 5. Players who own the PS4 edition can upgrade to the Enhanced and Extended Edition for $10. It is not yet known if and when the expansions will come to the PC version.
