The Russian Foreign Minister also said that rising tensions with Western countries would strengthen ties between Russia and China. “This partnership is growing strong because the West is undermining all the foundations on which the international community is structured. Lavrov tells the Russian state broadcaster that Russia is now accustomed to Western sanctions. “They continue to impose sanctions and threaten a fifth sanctions. Maybe another one, but we got used to it anyway,” Lavrov said.

“As President Putin has said, with more than 5,000 personal actions being taken against Russia, we are at the forefront of sanctions, which is more than double the sanctions imposed on Iran and North Korea, but it has always strengthened us.
