A member of the team of Interior Minister Anneliese Verlinton (CD & V), who is currently in the United States, was diagnosed with the corona virus on Tuesday. A spokesman for the minister said. The delegation member has gone into isolation.

Annelys Verlendon is in Washington this week, along with Federal Police Commissioner General Mark de Messmaker and Director-General of the Crisis Center Bart Reymakers. Meetings are scheduled with representatives of various security agencies and US Secretary of Defense Alejandro Myorgas. Verlinton will also visit the United Nations in New York.
It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
