Quirky Looks and Impressive Performances: These were the most impressive moments from the first live show of “The Voice” | Television

TelevisionThe live premiere of “The Voice Van Vlaanderen” has ended. The candidates showed their best side, but, unfortunately, not everyone managed to go to the next round. It’s over for Ashley, Ilaria, Kat, Golot, and Louise.

Laura team

Laura Tesoro’s team got the ball. Ashley fights like a true warrior with “Warrior” Ashley opening the first live show and immediately giving a controlled performance. With Warrior from Oscar and the Wolf, he clearly has no intention of giving up like that. He looks like a real pop star and corrects his mistake like a pro. Unfortunately, he did not advance to the next round.

Tessa ended up as the last candidate on Laura’s team and immediately proved herself worthy of her spot on the live shows. With Adele’s Love in the Dark she gives a beautiful live performance, and can move on to the next episode.

Néhémie packs the stage for “The Voice” like he’s done nothing else for years. With “Cry Me A River,” he makes the entire audience go crazy. And the proud trainer, Laura, is sitting there and looking at her very proudly. She chose him first to go to the second live show.

Jan team

Then it was the turn of jury member Jan Paternoster. How sweet is this subdued “Nobody Knows” version of the Queens of the Stone Age? But for Mathieu, everything remains in line. Fortunately, Coach Jan is completely crazy about the magical universe Marilou has been able to create. He immediately took it to the second round.

Wesley chooses a powerful version of Elvis’ Suspicious Minds. Quinn thinks it’s not only a very cute show, but it’s also very well sung. Natalia absolutely loves the atmosphere during Wesley’s performance. He too can pass.

Ilaria picks Rosa Linn’s poppy “Snap”. Can this perfectionist convince coaches and fans? absolute! There are only words of praise after its performance. Jan is again a very proud coach. Unfortunately for Ilaria, that wasn’t enough to get them going.

Mateo team

Evert brings Jimmy Cullum’s song “Gran Torino”. He is accompanied by the sole Hans Franken at the piano. Natalia already ascribes a great talent to him: he makes people stop and listen to him.

Kat Releases First Live Show With Lewis Capaldi “Forget Me”. All the coaches enjoyed her new look, and Laura even called her the model Flanders needed. Unfortunately, her performance wasn’t enough to last.

Yente brings the beautiful, understated ‘responsibility’ of the rose. Quinn Waters even dares to call it the best performance of the evening and Coach Matthew watched it with an open mouth.

Natalia team

Robin is dripping with spirit. He performs the song “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars. He even made star Laura forget the original. And trainer Natalia is at least proud of Robyn and Nimi’s mum and dad. He can definitely go to the next live show.

Julot shows a completely different side of himself in the live performances. She shines with “Love Me Now” by Kygo ft. Zoe B. She even took dancing lessons from Roy Julen and did very well. Coach Natalia glows (literally and figuratively) with pride. Unfortunately, this was the last show for Julot.

Louise finally got to take part in a live performance of The Voice van Vlaanderen this season. And I took full advantage of that opportunity! With Cher’s “Believe” and an array of backing vocals and impressive horns, she proved her spot on stage was 300% worth it.

Quinn team

Roseanne goes to the first live show of a Dutch song. I brought the beautiful “That Did You Done” from Meau. And how! Her greatest talent? She can always move without getting tacky. Coach Quinn can lie flat on his back and is very content in his big red chair.

Johan had to learn to do his own thing completely. With Adele’s Fire To The Rain, it’s clear that he gives a very strong performance. Johan could convince even Natalia who had doubts about this song for the first time

Doesn’t Louise look like she was born on stage? She performs the challenging “Running Up This Hill” by Kate Bush. Beautiful appearance, original choreography and powerful voice. Quinn even calls her a true artist.
