In recent weeks, essential devices, including Samsung, have been given a new security update. This is now also the case for five Samsung devices.
Updates at Samsung
We’ve already seen the new March security update hit many Samsung devices. Today, five devices will be added. In our mailbox, we see upcoming tips on the March Update, including from Frank. This is now rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy A53, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Fold 4. The update is also rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra.
Devices are not only updated with the latest security patch made available for Android. Samsung also adds its own patches against vulnerabilities found in Samsung’s own components. The changelog does not report any new features or other major changes. Usually, bug fixes and the like are implemented at the same time as these types of updates.
When you can download the update to your device, you will get a notification on your smartphone. If necessary, you can manually check if you can download the update in Settings > Software update.
