Still want to record your Xbox 360 games digitally? Then take your chance now! After this weekend, the Xbox 360 Digital Store will be closing its doors for good.
Xbox announced in August of last year that the Xbox 360 Store would be available on consoles… Xbox 360 Online Marketplace The online connection will be shut down on July 29th of this year. So, tomorrow, which means you’ll need to hurry if you want to get games from the original store on your old Xbox console. Of course, some Xbox 360 games that are backwards compatible on current Xbox consoles will still be available for purchase via the relevant digital stores.
However, the shutdown means that countless games won’t be available for purchase forever. De Wacht cites personal favorites like Stranglehold and James Bond: Bloodstone as examples, but there are of course many more. Games and downloadable content (DLC) you’ve already purchased will still be available to download on your Xbox 360.
