Spotify has begun testing concert tickets in the US. The streaming service has now quietly set up a website where you can buy tickets for a few shows.
A spokesperson told tech news site TechCrunch that there’s not much to say about the trial at this time, other than that the Swedish company continues to try out new products and ideas. So it is not clear whether this sale will be tested in other countries as well.
The news comes shortly after Ticketmaster in the US announced a partnership with TikTok. Users will soon be able to buy concert tickets directly through the popular social media app.
