Such situations are now a thing of the past, because WhatsApp introduces a new function that allows you to edit messages up to fifteen minutes after they have been sent.
“Whether you want to correct a misspelling or add extra context to your message, we’re happy to give you more control over your conversations,” reads a blog post from messaging service WhatsApp. The feature will be available globally to its 2 billion users in the coming weeks.
Not invisible
How do you edit a sent message? Tap on your message to bring up the menu And he chose for “edit”. This is possible up to fifteen minutes after sending. The corrected message will then be marked as “edited”, so that the recipient will know that the content has been modified. The recipient cannot see the first figure of the message.
