Almost a year after the acquisition was first announced, Amazon has finally completed its acquisition of legendary movie studio MGM. It included $8.5 billion, meanwhile movie fans are wondering what the future holds.
Thanks to the acquisition, Amazon will get many popular franchises. Just think of Rocky Balboa, Legally Blonde, Stargate, Pink Panther, and more. Then there’s the crown jewel: James Bond.

Variety has published an interesting article about the future of the secret agent. According to Variety, Amazon really considers it the crown jewel of the acquisition.
But while Amazon has huge plans, producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are hard to overlook, as they have an enormous level of creative control over the entire franchise.
