From Premier League NBC has signed a new mega deal with Universal. The BBC has reported that the television network will pay less than 37 2.37 billion over the next six years to broadcast matches from the English top competition in the United States.
NBC Universal had already held the rights for the past six years, but had to pay only மில்லியன் 800 million for the package. “NBC has significantly boosted the league’s popularity in the United States,” said Premier League President Richard Masters. “Interest in the Premier League is growing and it is very pleasing to meet the global need to watch our matches.”
The partnership between the Premier League and NBC will now run through the summer of 2028. The English League has already signed new three-year agreements with Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime Video and the BBC on domestic rights. 5.5 billion euros were involved.
