In the 1B Pro League, Deinze missed the opportunity to only become second. Deinze had to make peace at home with a 3-3 draw with Lommel.
After defeating Waasland-Beveren and Lierse, Deinze had the opportunity to move to second place in the standings, behind the inaccessible Westerlo. The home team had to beat Lommel for that.
