Mobvoi has announced its latest smartwatch. The TicWatch 5 Pro runs on Wear OS 3, has two screens, and a very large battery. The smart watch is available for 359.99 euros.
The TicWatch 5 Pro uses the Snapdragon W5 + Gen 1 processor. This wearable processor should be twice as fast as the Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor. Internally, we also find 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. You can use the storage space to install apps or store music, among other things.
The most noticeable thing about the TicWatch 5 Pro is the display. Mobvoi has placed a second screen on top of a 1.43-inch OLED display. This second black and white LCD screen displays more important information such as health and time stats. The LCD screen is more energy efficient than the OLED screen, which of course has a positive effect on battery life. Wear OS smartwatches don’t usually last that long on a single battery charge, but according to Mobvoi, the TicWatch 5 Pro has up to 80 hours of battery life. In addition, thanks to the support for fast charging, you can recharge the battery to 65 percent in 30 minutes.
