Top international artists like Ed Sheeran, George Ezra and Years & Years support the Belgian Red Cross in Flanders | celebrities

celebritiesEd Sheeran, Rudimental, Editors, Twenty One Pilots, George Ezra, Years & Years, Tame Impala and Roméo Elvis are committed to the Belgian Red Cross – Flanders. At that time, all eight artists filmed in Ukraine for their videos. Given the current conflict, that wouldn’t be possible today. So the singers decided to remove the Ukrainian shots from their videos.

On February 24, the armed conflict in Ukraine will continue for a whole year. And everything indicates that the war will not end anytime soon. This is why the Belgian Red Cross – Flanders is launching a campaign with some of the world’s leading artists to demand continued attention and support for all victims. By removing Ukrainian imagery from their popular videos, the artists, along with the Belgian Red Cross – Flanders, want to advocate for continued support for the victims. Because it’s the harsh reality: too many people and infrastructure are at risk of disappearing in the conflict zone of today’s Ukraine.

There are a total of eight videos shot in Ukraine: Ed Sheeran’s “Second Step”, George Ezra’s “Paradise”, The Liberators’ “Frankenstein”, Rudimental’s “Never Let You Go”, Twenty’s “Nico And The Niners” One Pilots, “Shine” by Years & Years, “Let it Happen” by Tame Impala and “Malade” by Romeo Elvis. Everywhere Ukrainian shots were removed. And from now on, you can find all-new versions of this popular video – a version without sets or actors – on the Belgian Red Cross of Flanders YouTube page.
