Financial news agency Bloomberg reported that the new generation of the Apple Watch is slightly larger than previous models. The small version comes in at 41mm, which is slightly smaller than the 42mm large version of the 2015 and 2016 versions.
The Apple Watch gets a slightly larger screen and watch faces to take advantage of that, Mildt Bloomberg. Screen diameters have not been reported by the financial news agency, but the cases come out at 41mm and 45mm. This is now 40 and 44 mm. The first three generations of the watch have 38mm and 42mm cases.
The watch will get a new design with flat sides, according to the news agency. This is the design like John Prosser saw me months ago. According to Bloomberg, the focus will be on the new design and there will be no new health features. A sensor to track body temperature around the clock may be installed next year.
Apple is expected to introduce the new watch this fall. This is likely to happen with newer iPhones. Apple has not yet planned an event, but the date of September 14 has been mentioned as the likely day when a presentation will be given.
