(Belga) Tropical storm Ida has killed at least one person in the state of New Jersey in the eastern United States. One person has died after his home in New York collapsed. It is not yet clear whether the death was a direct result of Ida’s passage. A state of emergency has been declared in both New York and New Jersey.
