Oleksandr's father is Russian and the young man spent half of his childhood in Russia. The man has not been seen since.
Oleksandr's unit made headlines after destroying two Russian tanks in a single encounter, earning him much praise and a huge reward. This news must have reached his Russian father, because during the quarrel Oleksandr received a phone call from an unknown number with the message: “Son, come to us.”
On the other end of the line was his father, who had just aimed a grenade at Bradley Oleksandr's side of a Russian tank.
