Employment in the United States grew faster than expected in October. The number of new jobs in the world’s largest economy also increased faster than in September. According to U.S. Department of Labor figures on Friday.
Excluding agriculture, the number of jobs increased by 531,000 last month. Economists expect an average of 450,000 new jobs. The number of September also revised sharply upwards from 194,000 to 312,000 new jobs. The unemployment rate in the United States has fallen from 4.8 to 4.6 percent.
