(ABM FN-Dow Jones) The number of homes for sale in the United States rose as expected in November, while house prices did not rise further. This was revealed on Wednesday from figures from the National Real Estate Association.
The number of homes for sale increased by 1.9 percent on a monthly basis to 6.46 million units.
Economists had previously expected 6.5 million homes to be sold already.
The average selling price in October was $ 353,900, 13.9 percent higher than a year earlier. The average selling price was the same as a month ago.
