Alkmaar – Artist Neliki Bosland has been exhibiting her works in the gallery space in Kunstwytlen Alkmaar for four weeks since January 10. You start with a piece of tape on the wall and floor: a red and white pattern as your first entry into the space. During the month the work develops into an installation that will be different every day.

Bosland uses the existing space to create strange otherworlds using tape, video and light projections. The structure of the building and its surroundings form the foundation. The end result and the production process are equally important. New lines of conversation emerge with visitors about the meaning of the work and its relationship to the environment and current events. Children jump and jump. There are people who see this and avoid the lines. There are people who don't see it and walk over it as if it has always been there. We cordially invite you to experience how Nelleke transforms a gallery space into a sculpture.

Nelleke will conclude her work on February 11 with a performance with Floor Remmelzwaal, who creates a scene using synthesizers she built herself. Visitors are welcome from 3:00 p.m., starting at 3:30 p.m. Free admission. The space can then be visited until February 25.
