The Alzheimer’s Café, Parkinson’s Café and Pink Salon started again in Schiedam

Schiedam – Major events such as Alzheimer’s Café, Parkinson Café and Roze Salon will once again be staged within the Frankeland Cluster from this month. Everyone is very welcome!

Alzheimer’s Café Schiedam is for people who have to deal with memory problems or (onset) of dementia, or people who care for loved ones who have dementia. Here you can also get more information about this disease, talk to specialists and / or contact fellow patients.

Frankelandgroep organizes Alzheimer’s Café in Frankeland (Sint Liduinastraat 10, Schiedam) every second Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm (going: 7pm). The following Alzheimer’s Cafés will take place on April 12, May 10 and June 14.

Parkinson’s Café

Parkinson’s is for people who care for loved ones with Parkinson’s. Here you can get more information about this disease, talk to specialists and / or contact fellow patients.

Frankelandgroep organizes the Parkinson’s Café in Frankland once every two months, on the third Tuesday of the month, always at 7.30pm (Attendance: 7pm). Entry is free, registration is not necessary. The next Parkinson’s Café will be held on May 17th.

The pink salon

Do you sometimes find it difficult to talk openly about your sexual orientation or gender identity? Or do you want to communicate in a comfortable way with, for example, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and/or Bisexual Elderly (LGBTI Seniors)? Then you are welcome to Salon Roze.

The Pink Salon takes place every last Tuesday of the month from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at Winter Garden in Frankland. The next meetings will be held on April 26, May 31 and June 28. “On arrival, you can inform the front desk and one of our staff will meet you,” according to Frankelandgroep.
