The excited Queen is back on her feet for her favorite horse show (or was it Tom Cruise?) | Property

PropertyShe hasn’t shown much in public since she had to spend a night in the hospital in October, but this past weekend’s horse show at Windsor Castle didn’t want Queen Elizabeth (96) to miss anything. Since the founding of the Royal Windsor Horse Show 79 years ago, the Queen has not missed a single one.

According to the British court, Elizabeth is experiencing “mobility problems”, which has forced her to cancel some important events recently. For example, she had to fail last Tuesday for the first time at the start of the British Parliamentary year.

a standing ovation

The horse show was the first of many major events on Sunday night to mark the 70th anniversary of her accession to the British throne. The Queen received a standing ovation from the crowd as she walked independently, using a cane, to her seat at the Gallery, flanked by her son, Prince Edward, Duke of Wessex.

The Queen enjoyed an amazing program of horse shows, military parades and performances by artists from all over the world. The meeting was attended by Helen Mirren, Joan Collins and Tom Cruise. The musical accompaniment was provided by Gregory Porter, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Katherine Jenkins.

Challenges

The show focused on notable events from the Platinum Anniversary of Elizabeth and honors from the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. Prince Charles also spoke about his mother. He praised the way she always manages herself and the way she deals with various challenges in life.

The Queen clearly enjoyed the performances and made a delightful impression. At the end of the evening, Elizabeth was taken from the party site in a Land Rover. She walked a short distance from her seat to the car and spoke briefly with some of the show staff along the way.
