Discovery of the space shuttle

The Space Shuttle is among the most famous spacecraft ever. This is also allowed after more than 30 years of loyal service. The first shuttles first took to the air in the 1980s, and the last ones were not permanently retired until 2011. The Discovery shuttle serves as the inspiration for the LEGO set.

Man hasn't been to the moon in a while, but NASA is working to change that. But of course we can't get an old Apollo from the stable. That's why we're working on a new ship called Artemis.

It has not yet been sent into space, but an unmanned mission has already been successfully carried out in 2022. The Artemis launch system used will soon be available as a LEGO set. It has happened before that shuttle rockets, for example, were also included in a LEGO set, but this is the first time that the entire structure that takes astronauts on board is also part of a set.

The Artemis missions should eventually help NASA send someone to Mars. There is great interest in this planet and many unmanned spacecraft are already roaming around conducting research.
