Anderlecht put things right against Halladas
A good start from Anderlecht in the Elite Round. Hungary Halladas tied 0-2 in the mini-tournament in Lisbon, after an own goal scored by Rangel and a goal by Henrique.
But things returned to normal before the end of the first half thanks to goals from Edu, Tomic and Keenan. In the second half, the score deepened to 5-2 thanks to goals from Marcinho and Grillo.
Anderlecht will play again tomorrow against the Serbs of Loznica Grad. On Sunday we will have a potentially decisive clash with home favorite Sporting.
Anderlecht have opponents in the Elite Round
The draw for the elite round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League has been announced. Anderlecht’s toughest competitor will undoubtedly be Sporting, who have reached the final 6 times in the last 7 years. Last year, RSCA lost to the Portuguese team 7-1 in the semi-finals.
The other competitors in the group come from Serbia (Loznica-Grad) and Hungary (Haldas). Anderlecht must finish first in the group to qualify for the Final Four.
The matches will be held in Lisbon from November 28 to December 3.
Anderlecht to the elite round
Anderlecht finished the group stage with their second win. In Serbia, St. Andrews beat Malta 1-5.
Villela, Marcinho and Borges scored before the end of the first half, and Roncaglio and Grillo scored after that.
Anderlecht can now prepare for the Elite Round (from 11/28 to 12/03), and the draw will take place next Thursday.
Defeat 1-2 against Barcelona
Anderlecht was unable to perform well against Barcelona, the favorite to win the Champions League.
The Spanish superpower was defeated by RSCA last year, but this time the Spanish champions came out on top.
Anderlecht took the lead thanks to Grillo, Beto and Adolfo turning 1-0 into 1-2.
