Every week the Belgian Video Games Federation (VGFB) brings us a list of the top 5 best-selling games in Belgium.

In week 45 of 2023, newcomer Call of Duty Modern Warfare III took first place. This shooter was made to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise. The game has a single-player campaign and is a continuation of the story of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II from 2022. EA Sports FC 24 took second place this time around, and according to EA, the new soccer game had a better launch than FIFA 23, with 20% of the player count being completely new, so you don’t have a save game from the previous FIFA match. In third place this week is Football Manager 2024. It’s a simulation game where you can simulate everything from transfers to full competitions and tournaments.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the fourth best-selling game in its 45th week. This is a new mainline 2D game where Mario and his friends go on an adventure to the Flower Kingdom instead of the Mushroom Kingdom. The evil Bowser has obtained a magical wonder flower with which he is wreaking havoc all over the world. Mario and his friends are the only hope to put things right again.

In fifth place this week is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which is a sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man from 2018 but also Marvel’s Miles Morales from 2020. In this game, you can play with both Spider-Man in a larger open world of New York . Switching characters is seamless within a second thanks to the PS5’s fast SSD.
