“What do the Hunger Games represent?” Impressive new trailer for ‘The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes’ online | film

filmFans of the popular “Hunger Games” series are surely counting down to November 15. After all, from now on the long-awaited person will play prefix “The Hunger Games: Song of Songbirds and Snakes” is in Belgian cinemas. And now fans have gone crazy, as a new (and long) trailer has been shared across social media.

“The Hunger Games” films, the last of which were released in 2015, are set in a dystopian world: Panem. States in America have become districts and each year each district puts forward a player between the ages of 12 and 18 to win the Hunger Games in the most gruesome way: by being the only one remaining. The franchise is based on the books of author Suzanne Collins and has achieved massive, worldwide success. This new part of the series is also inspired by Collins’ book of the same name, which was published in 2020.

“The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” tells the story of young Coriolanus Snow (whom we remember from the original “Hunger Games” films). It comes into this prefix Played by actor Tom Blythe. This new chapter is set more than 60 years before the events of Jennifer Lawrence’s original film. The character Snow is 18 years old and finds himself in a disturbing situation. Although he still lives in a big house, he has almost no money left. He wants others to think that everything is still going well, but it is not going as expected. In the end, everything changes when he is offered to become Lucy Bird’s (played by Rachel Ziegler) mentor. She will participate in the Hunger Games for District 12, the poorest district. Snow soon realizes that Lucy may be stronger than anyone else and tries to find his way back to the top through her.

Last summer, a trailer for the new Hunger Games was also released online. We see how the characters of Viola Davis, Peter Dinklage, and others address new players: “You have been chosen by your mental strength, your independence, your looks, and your noble self. From now on, everything you do will be around the Capitol. All of this represents the beauty of Panem. This is your chance to be part of the great legacy we will leave behind.”

“The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” will be shown in Belgian cinemas from November 15.
