Queen Elizabeth was spotted at a horse show

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth attended a horse show today, despite her absence earlier this week during the opening of the new parliamentary year.

Before the opening of the Parliamentary year on Tuesday, the 96-year-old British monarch had to cancel due to mobility issues. It was the first time she had missed the party since 1963. But today she is seen smiling at a horse show on the grounds of her castle. From her Range Rover, the Queen watched some of her horses at the Royal Windsor Horse Show for four days.

The horse show began on Thursday and aims to honor the Queen’s 70th anniversary of the throne. Various events take place over four days, such as “Running Through History” which involves 500 horses and 1,000 artists. The final is scheduled to take place on Sunday when the Queen is waiting again. Many big names will also be participating, such as Tom Cruise and Helen Mirren.

Mobility problems

The Queen is now unlikely to appear in public after being hospitalized in October last year. Buckingham Palace describes her condition as “occasional mobility issues”. Her doctors told her to rest. Since then, the Queen has been performing her duties from Windsor Castle. It was last seen in public at a memorial service in honor of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.
