Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin, 37, is going viral with her witty answer to a disturbing question from a reporter. At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, she received another comment about her age and gender.

Marin, 37, was just 34 when she became Finland’s prime minister in December 2019. CNN and Washington Post journalist Fareed Zakaria brings up the issue again, starting by saying he knows she doesn’t like talking about it. “And not you,” is the witty response. “You know, we don’t have to go that way.”
But Zakaria got a chance to pop his question anyway and wants to know if Marin’s position as a young woman in power has allowed her to do more for women’s issues and understand these issues better than others. In her response, the Finnish prime minister makes a strong case for women’s participation.
