celebritiesBritish pop star Ed Sheeran (32) is making money like it’s nothing. Last year, he raised €20 million, but he also has to hand over much of that to the state.
Sheeran may be one of the richest singers ever, but he pays his taxes right. This is not easy when your wealth is so great. Last year, Ed was forced to hand over £8 million (about €9 million) to the British state. This amounts to approximately €183,246 per week.
Last year he earned €20 million, €9 million more than he earned the previous year. However, this entire amount went to the tax authorities.
This doesn’t change the fact that Sheeran is very warm. He has a huge estate in Sussex, where he not only has three villas, a pub, a treehouse and a swimming pool, but also his own church and burial vault.
“You can say a lot about him and the way he spends his money, but at least he is honest,” he said on social media. “Unlike some other celebrities who cheat on their taxes.”
