Nenov – As usual, the park’s concerts will also take place this summer. Monday 3 July marks the start of a series of four evenings of music and atmosphere.
Dikkus Missus opened with famous pop songs, which they turned into real rock. It’s still “special” for garden parties, but the large audience that turned out really enjoyed her performance. We had a conversation with De Vil, aka the owner of the Gonzo Café in Meerbeek.
Young talent
Behind them are two very sympathetic young guests with a lot of talent: Aaron Plumert and Jens de Jeter. Aaron is popular among youngsters, not least because he won this year’s edition of The Masked Singer with the character ‘Wizard’. Aaron clearly feels like a fish in water on stage.
Jens was allowed to shut down the park parties. Accompanied by his live band, he sang like magic.
We spoke with all of the artists and also with Benjamin Adam, one of the organizers of the nonprofit Maspoe. Although somewhat windy, this first night was a gentle opening; One that makes us look forward to the next day on Monday, July 17th.
