WWDC is back. Apple will introduce many new features, devices and functions there. What will undoubtedly play an important role in this is the integration of artificial intelligence (AI). Even with emojis.
Why is this important?
Earlier this month, Apple insider Mark Gurman announced to Bloomberg that OpenAI and Apple are negotiating to integrate OpenAI on the company’s devices.Maybe we’ll find out how to translate this only during the Worldwide Developers Conference. However Gorman (trans Bloomberg) this week with a new scoop: Apple will integrate artificial intelligence into iOS18 to let users create their own emoji.
Artificial intelligence emojis
Gorman reports that Apple is busy developing software on the iPhone that will allow users to create custom emojis thanks to generative artificial intelligence. This AI-based emoji software allows users to design their own emoji for any situation or occasion with a simple request.
Apple will continue to add new emojis, but users can also do their own things. The AI feature is not the only novelty in iOS18. Apple previously announced vehicle motion signals and eye tracking. The software update will likely be available from September.
