Yesterday, Bitcoin (BTC) price made mincemeat of the important resistance level just above $64,000. The rise in Bitcoin prices has given a big boost to altcoins in particular. This shot was fired into the air in a short time last night. Popular memecoins, including Shiba Inu (SHIB), have benefited the most from Bitcoin's jump.
Bitcoin price rises unexpectedly
Bitcoin showed slight price fluctuations yesterday, as usual on a weekend day. During the morning and afternoon the racing showed few signs. Without much volatility, Bitcoin moved sideways just below $64,000.
Just before the evening started, there was a sudden movement in the price of Bitcoin. In less than two hours, the price rose about 2.5%, from about $63,800 to a peak of $65,400.
Thanks to its price rally, Bitcoin ended the day above an important resistance level, several hundred dollars above $64,000. If the price drops from the current level, it makes sense that this would be the first level to watch. On the way up, the next major hurdle is the area around $69,000.

At the time of writing, the price of Bitcoin on SATOS-backed cryptocurrency exchange Bybit was worth $65,096. On Dutch cryptocurrency exchange Bitvavo, the price of BTC in euros is 61,207. Compared to 24 hours ago, Bitcoin fell by 1.63%.
Altcoins steal the spotlight, especially memecoins
All attention is currently focused on the rest of the market. The rise in Bitcoin prices has turned almost every altcoin into the green. The vast majority have also made a bigger leap than the king of cryptocurrencies.
Memecoins in particular are doing well at the moment. Shiba inu, the second largest memecoin in the industry, rose by a whopping 18.02%. Floki (FLOKI), which is ranked 68th on the cryptocurrency market, is the absolute winner last day with a massive increase of 39.87%.
All top 10 coin colors saw price increases in the past 24 hours. For example, Ethereum (ETH) is up 3.55%, Solana (SOL) is up 2.92%, Ripple (XRP) is up 3.15%, Dogecoin (DOGE) is up 5.05%, and Cardano (ADA) is up 2.07%.
