Dutch celebrities talked about the start of Ramadan on social media on Monday. The blessed month of fasting has begun for Muslims all over the world, including the Netherlands.
Donny Rolfink, who has immersed himself in Islam since his cancer diagnosis, shared the usual greeting on Instagram: “Ramadan Mubarak.” The same thing was done by actor Nasreddine Dashar, who is in Morocco to film the film “Taxi” for Mokro Mafia, and rapper Joselvio, who is in Mecca.

Former actress Maryam Hassouni from the series “Dounia and Daisy” describes Ramadan as “the month in which we starve the body to nourish the soul.”
