look. Chris Hemsworth has a high risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
In November, while filming the documentary Limitless, he discovered that he was “eight to ten times more likely” to develop Alzheimer’s disease. A very bitter pill that Thor swallows. He immediately decided to put his career first and take a break. “I’m going to take a long vacation and simplify life: just spending time with my kids and my wife,” he told Vanity Fair at the time.
Now that recordings for “Extraction 2” and “Furiosa” had been completed, the question arose whether Hemsworth would appear in new projects. Page Six says, via an insider, that he’s heard the star is indeed taking it easy, but that he won’t be retiring at the moment. For example, the actor will have four more projects planned for the near future, including an “Avengers” print and a biopic on wrestling icon Hulk Hogan. But once those projects end, he “doesn’t plan to take on many roles due to the increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease,” it seems. Whether or not Hemsworth intends to retire after the planned projects are completed is unknown.
