British singer Ed Sheeran is one of the most famous artists of the 21st century, and that comes at a price. Last year alone, the singer paid himself 21.35 million pounds, or 25 million euros. His own company announced this Thursday.

In 2019, he paid himself just £10m in dividend payments from his company Ed Sheeran Limited, and this year that amount will double. In the past three years, the Shape of You singer is said to have earned £112.4 million. Sheeran also runs a company that manages his travel revenue, which is said to have raised more than £180m in the past two years.

But in addition to significant earnings, the singer will also have some costs. The Daily Mail knows this, which managed to take a closer look at some of its accounts. For example, there will be several actions against Sheeran Corporation. It was not immediately clear how much money was involved. According to the British newspaper, this could include his song ‘Thinking Out Loud’ which is said to be very similar to Marvin Gaye’s classic ‘Let’s Get It On’. A claim has been submitted for £76.4.

Like many, Sheeran has also been affected by the Corona pandemic. For example, his restaurant and bar in Nothing Hill had to close for several months. The loss is estimated at 1.2 million pounds sterling. “We had a rough start as we opened the doors two months before the outbreak,” Ed Sheeran told The Sun. “If you want to make a small fortune in the food industry, you have to start with a big fortune. It’s one of those things that is really hard unless you’re Jamie Oliver.
